Brushing up on Rodin's sculpture, Ciwt is reminded of how she can never quite 'forgive' the fact that there are multiple versions and castings of all of his works.  Even now the government of France - who owns his estate - is authorizing founderies to cast 'original' Rodins.

She should, you know.  Rodin was just doing what sculptors since ancient Greece (and probably before that) did.  And painters.  There were factories, essentially, with various parts done by people who had developed expertise in particular areas: feet, hands, lost wax process, sketching, transfering, firing, polishing, painting, the list goes on.

Romance dies hard for Ciwt....
