New/Old Colors on the Fall Block --- Day 6/165

Walk: Trader Joe's

So, while Ciwt was busy at her computer working on logistics for a couple of upcoming events, Fall slipped in. Very quiet, even bringing warm tomato red back into the stores after a long hiatus. 

 (Ciwt loves Fall; it suits her).

Walk: Mill Valley, PGCC 
Distance: 8 blocks maybe, small home yoga

After a 'demanding' day of major shopping Spanish lunch with beautiful shopping advisor/friend, and tropical-themed cocktail party at her club, Ciwt felt the need for a beautiful image.  And look what she found!  

Turns out it's Pamukkale.  Ciwt hadn't heard of it, but maybe you have; it's Turkey's most visited attraction and a Unesco World Heritage Site.  

Here's a little information: There are dramatic travertine terraces dotted all around the globe, from China to Iran, the USA to Afghanistan. But nowhere else in the world can visitors enjoy exploring both picturesque travertine formations, built up over the millennia from limestone deposited by the abundant hot springs, and the colonnaded streets, temples, bath houses, necropolis and theatre of the remains of an idyllically located Greek-Roman spa city, Hierapolis. You can even bathe, as the Romans once did, in a picturesque pool filled with warm (around 36C), mineral rich waters and swim amongst submerged columns of great antiquity.

Maybe like Ciwt you're happy just looking at the photo.

Cut the Clock, Please --- Day 6/162

Walk: Cal Club for bridge
Distance: 3 miles, v. small home yoga

Country house looking, bridge today, bridge tomorrow along with the dreaded haircut, then some party event at club, then prepare for art tours.  Round and round it goes for the usually solitary with cat Ciwt.

For Instance

In her quest to make absolutely sure she is ready to be owned by a new cat(s), Ciwt is living a few questions.  Today's was whether she (and her new cat(s) might  enjoy having a second home near San Francisco where the weather is warm, the skies are clear, the parking is abundant, etc.  So she met a realtor in country like that and found, yes, all those things are there And the houses have things like: large yards, multiple bedrooms and baths, large modern kitchens, huge garages, pools, nearby golf, biking and hiking trails.

How nice to be on the land and sense lovely things growing; all this space, beauty, comfort and ease should make Ciwt (and the cat(s)) happy.  But actually, it turned out Ciwt's favorite part of the day was returning to her fog-bound, windy city and aerie condo with its New York sense of space (ie, every inch can/must be used for something).

Hope the cat(s) aren't disappointed...
