Another dear holiday season painting. Certainly to Ciwt who grew up in snowy winter among many of Norwegian stock. And who 'lived on skis' for several years in the mountains. She was just reading some of the daily ski rates at the resorts out West ($250 and up) and feeling thankful for her years when she could tromp around for free like this young skier and later buy an unlimited season pass for $300.
Such a glorious sport.
