There's a lot of great writing about last night's World Series game. In case you haven't heard, the Giants won 8-3 in a game that seemed deliriously and personally delivered from outer space. *Verlander, the Detroit Tigers' pitcher, is considered by many/most to be the most formidable pitcher in major league baseball right now.
